Alejandro has given legal counsel in different areas of law in the 20 years he has worked at the firm, and has participated, mainly, in matters related to Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, Banking Law, estate planning, and Arbitration. Among the work he has done, he has provided legal counsel to companies such as Banco G&T Continental, Banco Industrial, Archer Daniels Midland, Grupo Onyx, Grupo Adisa, Grupo Lorenesi, Corporación Yon, among others.
In real estate, Alejandro has successfully negotiated many deal that exceed USD 220,000,00.00. He provides external legal counsel to financial institutions, where he has participated in bank mergers, conducted due diligence processes for the granting of syndicated loans, collaborated in the drafting and authorization of bank loans, and factoring.
Alejandro has been recognized in some of the most prestigious legal rankings worldwide. He was recognized as a Band 1 Lawyer in Real Estate Law by Chambers and Partners Latin America for 6 consecutive years. Additionally, he was recognized as a Rising Star in Real Estate Law in the Legal 500 ranking in 2021 and 2022.
Likewise, as pro-bono services, he currently the position of Vice-President of Asociación Médica Guatemalteca Doctor Rafael Espada (AMEGESO) [Guatemalan Medical Association Doctor Rafael Espada (AMEGESO], and is a member of the Board of Directos of the Consejo de Administración de la Unidad de Cirugía Cardiovascular de Guatemala (UNICAR) [Board of Directors of the Cardiovascular Surgery Unit of Guatemala (UNICAR)].
